During Lab 2, you may run into space issues on the Windows VMs. Because of how the image is set up, you can pretty easily free up over 10GB of space by following these instructions:

  1. Open "Server manager"
  2. Click "add roles and features"
  3. Click "next" using the default settings until you get to the "features" screen
  4. Scroll down to "User Interfaces and Infrastructure" and make sure all three options are checked.
  5. Finish the install process and restart
  6. press windowsKey+R to open the run dialog
  7. type "cleanmgr"
  8. Once cleanmgr has started, press "clean up system files". This will take a while and use much processing power. Make sure your computer is well ventilated, and you may not want to do anything else so it doesn't overheat.
  9. Make sure that the large previous windows files category is checked and click okay

Depending on how much of the lab you have already done, it may be easier to follow these instructions on each VM, or to follow them on one and clone the VM again by deleting the existing clones and copying/pasting the folder containing the VM files.
